About us

We built Cobrief to be a new kind of legaltech company—one that directly serves the businesses and entrepreneurs building the future, rather than lawyers.

We’re on a mission to make the law simpler, affordable and accessible for small to medium-sized businesses.

We’re on a mission to make the law simpler, affordable and accessible for small to medium-sized businesses.

At Cobrief, we believe the law should be accessible to everyone, not just those with deep pockets. We're a small team passionate about making legal access easier for small and medium-sized businesses.

We’re starting with contracts. Our platform lets you review business contracts without needing a law degree. It’s built to answer important questions like, “What are the risks in my contract?” or “Am I signing my life away?” (only half-joking).

We get it—reading business contracts is a pain, especially when you’re juggling everything else as an owner-manager. So, we’ve made it simple (it takes just two steps to review your contract) and affordable. Try it out and let us know what works and what doesn’t.

Join us in making the law accessible for all. Explore our platform, share your feedback, and help us bring legal empowerment to every small to medium-sized business.

How Cobrief came about

After studying and practicing law for 8 years, our founder, Zeyd Anwar, saw a big problem: small to medium-sized businesses were struggling to access the law, even though they’re the backbone of the American and British economies.

Zeyd wanted to change that. He founded Cobrief to make contract review accessible, so businesses can sign their contracts with confidence.

Our mission is to democratize legal access, making it more affordable and simple for businesses to protect themselves. By combining Zeyd’s legal expertise with AI technology, Cobrief helps businesses save time and money, giving them the confidence to focus on growth.
